I listened to the station in my room while working on my homework. The station is on twenty four hours a day. It is a Country playing station. The radio station is hosted in the town of Stephenville, Texas. The ranges of towns that have access of hearing 89.7 FM Pure Country are split into regions. The towns that are featured in the local area of the station include Stephenville, and Hico. The towns that are at a distance include Dublin, Hamilton, Clifton, and Granbury. The towns that are on the fringe area include Cleburne, Weatherford, and Comanche. There were many advertisements announced. Some of the advertisements involved Patrick’s tree pharmacy, Hay and Feed Ranch, CHL, Dublin Cleaners, Weather, Clays Processing, and Associated Well Services. These announcements were played between either one or two songs in a row. Also, in between the songs sometimes the host or a well known person promotes the station. They do it in a happy voice while saying “This is 89.7 Pure Country.” As a station overall it was well put together as they promoted there own station, famous Country singers, and local shopping centers of Stephenville.
